2UP Game

With its roots squared firmly in Australia, the 2Up game is a classic and simple game where a person is chosen to throw two coins or two pennies in the air. The other players involved will choose before the toss whether the coins will either be both heads, tails or one is head and the other is tails. This game was highly popular among Australian soldiers during World War 2.

Although banned in Australian law, 2Up underground organizations managed to sprout up despite the Australian authorities attempts to thwart them. In 1973, 2Up officially became legalized as a table game in the Hobart casino that opened up, but it has sense only been offered at Crown Perth and at Crown Melbourne and has overall been legalized on Anzac Day.
